11 activists were arrested as the house was evicted shortly after.
The house was built in protest of the plans to use the E-1 area in order to expand Ma’ale Adumim, in a way that will connect the large settlement to Jerusalem, and split the West Bank in two.

The village has waged a nearly 3 years long struggle against the wall and was supported from the start until now by AATW. Throughout the entire period, the chances of gaining any change in the route of the wall were considered nil by everyone. The continued demonstrations at a cost of injuries and jail were considered a mistake even by many supporters.
