As the number of Israeli activists joining Palestinian popular resistance gradually increases, the Israeli government has escalated its legal campaign against anti occupation activists, and specifically against anti-wall activists.
Since 2003, hundreds have been arrested and dozens of indictments have been filed.
With the recent increase of legal persecution against Palestinian demonstrators, Anarchists Against the Wall are now fundraising to expand their existing legal fund to also cover defense costs for Palestinian arrestees. This is in addition to covering a debt of about 15,000 USD, resulting from the heavy load of the legal persecution of Israelis participating in Palestinian anti-wall demonstration, and operational expenses such as communications and transportation.
